Alena Velichko's Tea Studio8 upcoming · Tea & Cacao ceremonyYou’ll try competition and non-competition teas, aged and fresh, oolongs, red and white teas. Five varieties will be selected for this tasting, and some of the tea will be brewed in a Taiwanese tea dripper designed by its creator.
What happens
- The host will share stories and flavours and brew tea brought back from tea masters.
- You’ll hear about the people, teas and tea competitions of Taiwan, as well as the features of a country renowned for its oolongs. Jenny was the guide on the trip: she took guests to little-known places and introduced them to tea masters who are hard to find without the right connections.
- The dripper was created by a Taiwanese designer whom the host met. She has never brewed tea this way at the studio before.

Eight sessions are planned, with eight places at each.
