Alena Velichko's Tea Studio8 upcoming · Tea & Cacao ceremonyYou’ll taste five teas selected for the occasion and hear stories about Taiwan, its tea people and competitions. The selection will include oolongs, red and white teas, both aged and fresh.
What happens
- The host will share stories and flavours of teas brought back from the makers, and talk about the people, teas, competitions and distinctive features of Taiwan. Jenny accompanied her on the trip, taking the group to lesser-known places and introducing them to people in the tea world.
- Some of the teas will be brewed in a Taiwanese tea dripper of the host’s own design. This is her first time using it at the studio; she met the device’s creator.

You’ll learn about Taiwan, a place few people usually get to visit.
Good to know
Five teas will be selected from a wide variety for the tasting. There are eight places available at the event.
