Alena Velichko's Tea Studio8 upcoming · Tea & Cacao ceremonyYou’ll taste five teas selected from those brought back from Taiwan by tea makers: the selection includes competition and non-competition teas, aged and fresh teas, and oolongs, red and white teas.
What happens
- The host will share stories and flavours from the trip, and talk about the people, teas, tea competitions and the distinctive features of Taiwan, which is renowned for its oolongs.
- Some of the tea will be brewed in a handmade Taiwanese tea dripper. The host met its creator.
- Jenny was the guide on the trip: she took the travellers to unusual places and introduced them to people in the tea world.
Who leads it
The tasting will be led by the organiser, who shared stories, flavours and tea from the trip.
Good to know
There will be no more than eight people in the group.
