Waves is the foundational 5Rhythms® map of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness; the wave moves through physical, emotional and energetic states. Two days allow more time to stay with the practice and deepen the experience.
What happens
- The practice is based on Waves, the foundational 5Rhythms® map of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. It is neither choreography nor a set of movements to learn: the wave becomes a journey through physical, emotional and energetic states.
- The practice offers a way to return to the body, breath and movement; there is nothing to know or perform. Having a body and breathing is enough to take part.
Who it suits
The practice is open to all ages, levels of experience and physical abilities. It is suitable both for those new to 5Rhythms® and those who have been dancing for many years; everyone is both a beginner and deeply experienced in it.
Who leads it
The workshop is led by Paulina Lasek and Mirek Chybicki. It is conducted in English, with translation into Russian by Andrey Zamyshlyaev.

More from the organizer
- Before words appeared, people moved. The body and mind weave stories, form beliefs and make judgments — a natural and necessary ability, part of who a person has become. Becoming absorbed in these stories can weaken the connection with the body, direct experience and silence.
