WT Georgia1 upcoming · HikingOn this trip, you’ll visit Pitareti Monastery and two fortresses in Kvemo Kartli: Khuluti and Kveshi. The route passes through the countryside near Tbilisi.
What happens
- In the morning, you’ll leave Tbilisi for Pitareti Monastery, a well-preserved 13th-century complex in a wooded valley. You can explore the church and its surroundings.
- The route then continues to Khuluti Fortress on a hill, with views across the region.
- The final stop is Kveshi Fortress, where you can walk around the ruined towers and take in the panorama.

- The driving distance is about 150 km. The minimum group size is 5 participants.
- The trip lasts half a day; you’ll return to Tbilisi at around 16:00.
