ESSO Tango1 upcoming · Partner dancesArgentine samba unfolds here as a courtship dance, more romantic and intimate than chacarera. You’ll learn the dance sequence and work with scarves and partner interaction.
What happens
- First, you’ll learn the basic step, posture and positioning.
- Then you’ll work through the first, second and third parts of the sequence.
- Some classes are dedicated to working with scarves and partner interaction.
- In the seventh and eighth classes, you’ll put together a spectacular show number.
Who it suits
You can take part without a partner.
Who leads it
The course is led by instructor Maria Traskovskaya, a guide to the world of Argentine folklore.
