After the ascent, you’ll be rewarded with views of the Borjomi Gorge and the surrounding mountain ranges. The route follows forest trails through pine, spruce and beech trees; in late October, the leaves turn yellow here.
What happens
- The route starts in Likani and gradually leads deeper into the Borjomi Forest. You’ll walk along quiet trails among tall pines, spruces and beeches; there’s plenty of shade and fresh air, and hardly anyone around.
- Expect sustained climbs and trails carpeted with pine needles. On more open stretches, you can stop and rest while taking in the views.
Good to know
The route difficulty is 5 out of 10. It is 9 km long, with an elevation gain of 610 m.
