Movement Lab with Maya Selezneva

Who it suits

You’re welcome regardless of your dance experience or style; participation is open to people aged 16 and over.

Who leads it

The classes are led by Maya Selezneva, a dancer, choreographer and teacher from Berlin. She works with contemporary dance, street styles and improvisation, exploring movement qualities, groove, connection, and the balance between control and freedom. Maya has worked with Saïdo Lehlouh, Olivier Dubois Company and Johannes Wieland, and teaches at Tanzfabrik and Dock 11. Her work has been presented internationally, and her dance films have received festival awards.

Good to know

• The schedule may be subject to minor changes.
• The full lab package includes all classes, the opportunity to perform and free entry to the battle. You can pay in instalments, but the full amount must be paid by November 21.
• If you’re attending the battle only, entry without the lab costs 50 GEL.
